Jennie Garth has been opening up on the difficulties she had dealing with her divorce from Peter Facinelli in her new book Deep Thoughts From A Hollywood Blonde.

In her latest interview with FOX News – she said, “Having them leave the first time to go spend the week at dad’s house, I still every time… I call it “transition day.” Every time I have to have a transition day it takes me a day to figure it out. I know now what’s wrong. I’m always sad for the whole day, just blue and glum because my girls are gone. A chunk of me is taken away when they leave. I really have to recompose myself.”

She also told People that two years ago her daughter Luca gave her a self-help book for Christmas titled S––– Happens So Get Over It.

Garth – who also has Lola, 11, and Fiona, 7, – stated, “I thought, ‘Are you kidding me? I can’t believe she’s so insensitive.”

The 41-year-old is now working with Tori Spelling on the ABC Family series Mystery Girls and is renovating her L.A. home which she features in an upcoming HGTV series The Jennie Garth Project.
