According to TMZ, 95 of Chris Brown’s parking tickets have been dismissed, or approximately the number of parking tickets a normal person would rack up before being thrown in a holding cell. Brown’s lawyer Mark Geragos explained that the “Beautiful People” singer originally owed $15,000 in unpaid parking citations before most were removed from his record. The fact that we would be living in our cars if we owed the government that much money has not escaped us.

According to Geragos, Chris was given most of the tickets for parking in “what appeared to be handicapped spaces” at his L.A. condo lot, which later proved to be perfectly legal spots available for Brown’s use. That being said, “22 citations remain open” of the 117 original tickets he racked up, which means Chris still hasn’t paid them. Celebrities! They’re just like us. Us being all the terrible parkers world-wide.

The 6th grader got to act as mayor-for-a-day in her hometown of Forney after winning a contest designed to get kids interested in local government. If unlimited power won’t get kids interested in public office, nothing will! And Caroline used her new found authority to pay tribute to her idol, The Biebs.
“I really like Justin Bieber,” she told E! News. “”I like his music and I like him. And I thought, why not have a street in my hometown named after my favorite singer?” You’re the boss, Caroline! For a day at least. Sadly, the street reverted back to it’s original name after her 24 hour term was up, and the new Bieber-fied street sign was taken down. Lame. But the ex-mayor-for-a-day has no hard feelings for the local officials. “I thought it was pretty cool, and if Justin Bieber was actually here I’d probably faint.” The real mayor, Darren Rozzell made sure to add that Justin is more than welcome in their town. ““If Justin Bieber sees this, and wants to come to Forney, he’s got an open invitation.” Do we smell a Justin Beiber concert in Forney in the near future?

As the Academy-award winning actress tells Piers Morgan in her interview airing tonight, she is a staunch supporter of gay marriage. Charlize Theron marriage? Not so much. “I really want for myself a long-term relationship, and I have been in long-term relationships,” Theron explains. “That’s the kind of union that I want. The actual ceremony is not something that is important to me, but I see the importance for other people.” Last year, Theron and Stuart Townsend ended their relationship of 10 years; since then Charlize and Keanu Reeves have been spotted out and about. Hopefully Keanu is on-board with Charlize’s marriage plans; you know he gets so sad.
As for gay nuptials, Charlize is there with with bells, and a chartreuse taffeta gown with matching pumps, on. “It’s a divine right, and when government starts to tell us who can love and what is good love … I do have a problem with that,” Theron explains. “I do have a problem with the fact that our government hasn’t stepped up enough to make this federal, to make [gay marriage] legal.”
