Shopping local goes along with the Kendra’s green habits – The reality star recently talked about how her late grandfather sparked her interest in recycling by turning it into family affair.
“Our hobby was to go and drive around and look for cans on the side of the streets and we used to hop out and we used to just collect as many cans as we could and then recycle them,” she told E!. “That was the fun thing to do. I get it from my family. Recycling is a part of who I am.”
Now, she says her family recycles “every single thing we have.”
“I recycle baby Hank’s clothes by donating them,” Kendra continued. “I donate to women’s shelters all the time. I’m a huge advocate for donating. I love to donate.”

Noticing that your vocabulary has changed since becoming a parent? You’re not alone! Private Practice star Taye Diggs admits that he and wife Idina Menzel have adopted a few new words themselves, thanks to their 2-year-old son, Walker.
“I have no idea when this started,” the Chocolate Me author writes in his blog, “but it’s something I don’t even realize I’m doing.”
Though the actor says that he doesn’t get too carried away with the baby talk (“we mix things up and sing around the house, too”), he did take the liberty of translating a few of the words used around the Diggs’ household for us:
“pop pop” = pacifier
“banky” = blanket
“baba” = bottle

We have to wonder if that has to do with her attempts to reverse the signs of aging with some minor tweaks that led to major results. That’s why we like to think of her as the natural beauty she was, the one we still like to pair with a pint of Ben and Jerry’s.
